PUMA announced today it has entered into a long term endorsement agreement effective immediately. Steven will wear the new and revolutionary PUMA v1.11 football boot, the lightest football boot PUMA has ever developed, through the next FIFA World Cup and African Cup of Nations tournaments in 2012, 2013 and 2015.
The big question this week though is will we see Steven in action for Spurs during the Vodacom Challenge?
It must have been difficult for the Spurs midfield giant to miss the match against the Orlando Pirates this week a game which could have really used his unique blend of skills. Doctors have advised him not to play, but the worst of his knee injury looks to be behind him now.
